NFA Rules and Regulations
These rules must be followed if you wish to nominate a story.
The rules are subject to change, so please keep an eye on this page! (though I'll always post something on the main updates page first)
The story must have been updated or completed since November 7th, 2006. Older stories are not eligible.
The fic must be about Naruto, or be a Naruto crossover.
The fic must be original-- not a plagurism of someone else's.
Authors may nominate their own fanfiction; however it needs to be seconded by TWO people, not just one.
Authors may accept or reject any and all nominations; ultimately it is their decision to be a part of this competition, and if they wish to pull themselves out of it, they can.
The same story CAN be nominated in more than one category.
At least three nominations are required in any set category before voting can begin. If a section has less, it will be integrated with another section.
All stories must be seconded before they can be entered into the NFA voting round.
Please note that you CAN nominate stories that are not on TONFA. We accept stories from everywhere they can be posted-- from private websites, livejournal, fanfiction.net, adultfanfiction.net, and other Naruto archives. Though this awards competition is run by the administrative staff of The Original Naruto Fanfiction Archive, and is therefore affliated, it is a seperate website.
